ABOUT US
Established in 2016, Intellectual Business Services UK Ltd was originally founded as a Financial and Accountancy consultancy firm.
Since its conception, IBS UK Ltd has strived from one success to the next, having worked with blue chip clients turning over in excess of £4bn down to SME businesses generating £3m to £5m.
The founder, Robert Fisher ACMA CGMA originally trained as a cost accountant working with various SME companies within the Print, Manufacturing, Contracting, Construction, Professional Services, Eyewear distribution and Pharmaceutical Warehousing and Distribution industries.

IBS have supported many clients now on a Fractional FD/ CFO basis in the distribution, manufacturing, engineering, contracting, construction, fit out, professional services and hospitality sectors.

OUR SERVICES
FULL DIAGNOSTIC HEALTH CHECK AND ROADMAP TO BEST IN CLASS
The recommendation will be to commence any project with an initial diagnostic report on the financial health of the organisation, what is the current status quo, what are the prevailing issues, risks to not addressing and suggested solutions. Prioritise these actions and build a full roadmap to best in class for the Finance Department and Finance output. This typically takes four days and is priced as a fixed sum which includes presentation to the client.
EXECUTION
After the initial report has been prepared, presented and agreed by the client, the IBS consultant will commence with execution against the roadmap. Regular updates will be provided to the client who will see clear deliverables and value added from day one. The managing consultant is now extremely well versed and experienced in delivering against these plans and will ensure timescales and expectations are met and exceeded at all times.
SUPPORT BUSINESSES ON A FAST GROWTH TRAJECTORY
IBS consultants have now supported many businesses on a fast growth trajectory and understands implicitly the key success factors required to build out back office support, commercial and financial reporting to ensure business owners and stakeholders have value adding MI at their fingertips at all times. Often Finance Teams need to be reviewed to ensure they have the right expertise and skill sets required for the short, medium and long term aspirations of the business. Training and coaching can be provided and in some cases, restructuring might be the most efficient solution. All of this can be taken care of as part of the support package offering.
SUPPORT BUSINESSES ON A DECLINING TRAJECTORY
The need for a optimal Finance team is never greater for a business on a declining trajectory, its imperative to know that the Finances are correct, can be relied upon for timely decision making. The IBS Consultant will validate and ensure Finance information is up to date and accurate, review the cost base of the business and work with the business owners and stakeholders to map out a remedial plan and a plan to trade out of the slump. Cash Flow management and forecasting also often becomes critical during hard times, and the IBS Consultant will also review and ensure Cash Flow projections are accurate and identify remedial plans where possible.
NEW FUNDING AND REFINANCING
Whether in a growth trajectory or a declining slump, Funding and Refinancing can make or break a company's ability to achieve their short, medium and long term goals. IBS Consultants have contacts in all the major high street banks and have now completed many funding and refinancing deals successfully now, enabling clients of IBS to really move forward with achieving their corporate ambitions and goals in an accelerated fashion. The key to successful Funding and Refinancing is of course to get the internal Management Information fully up to date (Management Accounts and Forecasts) - if that's not already the case, the IBS Consultant can of course support and make this happen.
